You would think that when we’re locked in our houses and can’t go out, we can’t communicate anymore. But technology is very complex nowadays and it can help us send messages online. It’s very easy to simply just type a message that will be sent in less than 2 seconds. There are many platforms of communication we can use today like Messenger, Discord, and more.
For the first few months in the pandemic, it has really been hard to stay “alive” inside my house. There was no one to talk to, just television plus some books. But then online class happened and I got a phone. It really helped with communication with other friends, and although online class is tiring, my friends and I chat almost everyday about school, games, the usual. Adjusting to the new normal was the most difficult part of the whole thing, but after a year, it got easier and I got used to it. With the help of social media platforms, I also started talking to a friend that transferred out of ISA a few years ago and it’s quite nice to have people to talk to during these circumstances.
Everyone has their means of communication, whether it’s video chatting, texting, and more. Keeping in touch with people may be a daily occurrence for some people, while other people have trouble with it. It can also build more relationships. And I hope everyone has a way of expressing that.
