The Mathematics Trainers’ Guild Philippines (MTG), a major proponent to promote excellent teaching in Mathematics education and training, has been spearheading the participation of the Filipino Math wiz in various International Mathematics Competitions. This year three ISA Grade 3 learners, Jacques Simon Timtiman, Althea Lorraine Servano, and, Megan Lexia Talabucon，were among the Filipino contingents sent to join in the World Mathematics Invitational Competition held in Kaohsiong City, Taiwan last August 9 to 12. Althea Lorraine Servano brought home a bronze medal, Jacques and Megan received excellence award in the said competition.
Iloilo City Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog presents to ISA grade 3 learner Althea Lorraine Servano a citation from the city government for winning in the international math competition held in Kaohsiong City, Taiwan in August this year.
