Excessive Time

By Jumery Grace Sobrevega (Grade 10 – Rizal)

Love like it’s a matter of life and death.
A situation, I see myself gasping for breath.
A feeling felt once in a lifetime,
yet asked to be felt every time.
Lost my will, my strength
couldn’t hold it out ’til the tenth.
Thoughts roam my mind, wasting time;
even waves, ripples arrive at the exact time.
But why can’t we just get in depth?
Love is meant to die; we don’t know when.
So, let’s arrive at the same time.
Our time, just in time,
time won’t stop ’til the twelfth.
Wait, be patient, be stealth.
