The ISA community gathered at the ISA Gym on October 2, 2026, to celebrate Mentors’ Day with the theme, “Guiding Hearts, Inspiring Minds.” The occasion honored the mentors, facilitators, and staff who play important roles in the learners’ academic and personal growth.
One of the highlights of the celebration was the Appreciation Walk, where all facilitators walked through the school hallways as learners lined the pathways to welcome them. Along the way, learners presented them with thoughtful gifts as a gesture of appreciation for their guidance, patience, and dedication throughout the school year so far.
“One of the most difficult parts of teaching at ISA is understanding that every learner has different needs, personalities, abilities, and struggles. There are times when it can be challenging to keep everyone engaged and motivated, especially when learners are facing personal or academic difficulties. I handle this by being patient, understanding, and approachable. I try to listen to my learners, understand where they are coming from, and adjust my approach whenever necessary. For me, teaching is not only about delivering lessons but also about building relationships and making learners feel that they are supported. I believe that when learners know that their teacher genuinely cares for them, it becomes easier to guide them toward becoming better learners and individuals,” said Sir Vince, a facilitator from the Filipino Division.
Mentors Day gave the ISA community an opportunity to recognize these contributions and strengthen the bond between the learners and the people who support them. More than a celebration, it highlighted the importance of appreciating the individuals who help make ISA a supportive community where learners can learn, grow, and thrive.
