Iloilo Scholastic Academy Learner Council Donates for COVID-19 Response

ISA Learner Council led by its president Sean Austin Lao 刘德贤 donated the proceeds from tie-dye and other ISA-LC projects to benefit certain sectors of the Ilonggo community adversely affected by COVID19. The amount was turned over to Mayor Treñas this morning by Mr. Peter M. Chan, ISA Executive Director and Mr. Gomer Nuñez, ISA-LC adviser. ISA also wants to acknowledge the contributions of the parents, ISA facilitators and ISAers, without whose efforts the whole endeavour would not have been possible

“Kaya ta ini! A short but powerful statement we received from Iloilo Scholastic Academy Learner Council’s cash donation of P30,000.00. The pandemic may have caused us to scuffle, but with the help and support of the Ilonggos, we can never surrender. I am truly grateful for the ongoing encouragement I receive from my people. Ululupod kita sa pagbangon. Batò lang kita!” Mayor Trenas mentioned in his response.
