ISA Supports Brigada Eskwela 2021

Represented by the ISA Librarians Ma’am Giselle Wong and Ma’am Raffinee Mogote, ISA donated 3 boxes of books, comprising brand new Scholastic story books and sets of elementary textbooks (G1-G6) on various subjects from the ISA library collections, to the Brigada Eskwela Program.

In a small turn-over event led by the ISA librarians and Ma’am Niña Jubelag of Quintin Salas Elementary School, the books were handed over at the ISA library on September 3, 2021.

According to the Department of Education Regional Office III, “with the theme “Bayanihan sa Paaralan”, the Brigada Eskwela emphasizes the country’s collective efforts in promoting collaboration for safe living and addressing social issues and concerns in schools, at homes, and in the community.”

“The focus of this year’s Brigada Eskwela is to strengthen partnership engagements that complement DepEd’s efforts to ensure quality basic education amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Brigada Pagbasa as a form of Brigada Eskwela shall highlight the implementation to promote literacy and numeracy through the help of DepEd partners and volunteers.”
