ISAers Hold PlanSem 2026

ISA Learner Council Conducts PlanSem 2026 Ahead of New School Year

The ISA Learner Council conducted PlanSem 2026 on May 11 at the Iloilo Scholastic Academy Gym, bringing together student leaders and representatives for a planning seminar in preparation for the upcoming school year.

Hosted by Andrew Duya and Myka Moises, the annual event introduced the plans, flagship activities, and retention policies of organizations under the Learner Council and Club Assembly.

The program opened with a prayer led by Moises, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem. Participants then took part in an icebreaker activity titled “Common Ground,” facilitated by Board of Representatives Adviser Ma’am Camila Sonza.

Ena Tiu, Director for Human Resources, later introduced the structure and functions of the Learner Council, including the Central Board, Club Assembly, and Board of Representatives.

The seminar also featured presentations from various clubs, namely the ISA Debate Society, ISA Circle of Musicians, ISA Public Speaking Association, ISARocks, ISAyaw, ISA Union of Math Mavens, Junior Scholars, Margins, RobotICTs, Spartans, Spectrum, and Teatro Baganihan, which showcased their proposed projects, events, and initiatives for the upcoming academic year.

During her closing remarks, Tiu emphasized the significance of PlanSem in promoting learner participation and collaboration within the school community.

“PlanSem helps strengthen learners’ participation in school organizations by bringing together the Learner Council Central Board and Class Representatives to collaborate and exchange ideas for the upcoming school year,” Tiu said.

The event concluded with a photo opportunity for participants and organizers.

Held annually by the ISA Learner Council, PlanSem continues to promote leadership, collaboration, and active learner involvement as clubs prepare for the new academic year.
