Opening Remarks on the 17th ISA Day Celebration
大家好。
今天是双喜临门啊。在我们欢庆怡朗新华学院创校十七周年之际，我们也庆祝中国的传统佳节，中秋节。在这里我祝愿同学们，老师们和家长们节日愉快。当然，每次我们庆祝校庆的时候，我们也不会忘记这一天也是伟大的中华人民共和国的国庆日，在此我也祝愿我们的祖籍国欣欣向荣，国家更富强，人民更幸福。
今年注定是一个不同寻常的一年。两个月来，我们的老师、家长和同学们排除了前所未有的困难，胜利地完成了第一期的教学和学习任务。再次证明了我们这个大家庭是不怕风浪、不怕困难的集体。经过了这段时间的考验，对未来能取得更好的业绩，我们更是充满信心。我们相信今后任何障碍都阻挡不了我们的同学，家长和老师向前迈进的步伐。
Good morning, ISAers, ISA Facilitators and parents, Today we are not only celebrating the 17th founding anniversary of our school, the Iloilo Scholastic Academy, we also celebrate the Mid-autumn Festival. The COVID19 makes our celebration doubly meaningful, as what our theme this year aptly suggests, “March On in the midst of adversities”. Only in times of adversities that we can truly weigh the worth of an institution such as ISA. Two months had passed since the time when everything seemed so uncertain, anxiety and fear loomed around us, but look at you now, look at your parents, our facilitators, nothing can even remotely suggest the presence of uncertainty, anxiety and fear. What occupies our consciousness now, is how to carry on our mission this year up to the finish line. And we know that what is waiting for us at the finish line is victory. COVID19 is bad, but thanks to COVID19, more than ever, we believe nothing can hinder ISA from achieving her objectives and goals. And what makes it more significant is that you are part of ISA’s mission, because we all believe. Thank you and keep safe!
