Harvy Dalida (Grade 8 – Jacinto)
She is a great woman
who clearly doesn’t need a man,
a woman who is my greatest supporter,
and the woman who is my comforter,
a woman who is no damsel in distress,
that can handle the stress.
Yes, she sometimes spanked me when I was a kid,
but I know it was for my own good.
Mom, thank you for being my daylight.
Because during those darkest
and saddest days of my life,
you were there to bring light.
I know that it’s not easy,
and a simple “thank you ” is
not enough to show you
how grateful I am.
But still, thank you.
Thank you for raising us to be
such good individuals,
even if it was just YOU.
