The Insular Beach Resort in Guimbal, Iloilo was transformed into a vibrant hub of camaraderie and competitive spirit last June 14, 2024 as ISA facilitators and staff gathered for a day of team building activities. The event, planned to foster unity and collaboration, featured a lively assortment of games and challenges designed to bring out the best in every participant.
The facilitators and staff were divided into four teams: Red, Yellow, Green, and Blue. The event kicked off with an energetic round of cheers and yells. The air buzzed with excitement as teams showcased their creativity and spirit through their unique chants, drawing applauses and laughter from all corners of the pavillion.
The day’s itinerary was packed with a variety of games aimed at encouraging teamwork, strategic thinking, and fun. Plastic straw relay tested speed and coordination. Building a tower using spaghetti noodles fostered problem-solving, planning and ingenuity. Paint me a picture tested teams’ ability to communicate and work together. The grand finale was the singing contest, where representatives of each team belted out their favorite songs. The resort echoed with melodies and laughter as participants sang their hearts out, cheered on by their teammates and the audience.
The team building event at Insular Beach Resort was not just about games and competition; it was an opportunity for ISA facilitators and staff to connect on a deeper level, to understand each other’s strengths and challenges, and to build a foundation of trust and cooperation that will undoubtedly enhance their professional collaboration.
