We’ll come back

by Issa Belle Klarisse Chan (Grade 8 – Mabini)

Going through our lives means we get lost along the way, not communicating properly like usual, not paying attention in class. Feeling like someone stepped on your foot but it doesn’t hurt. We may get stuck along the way, not knowing what to do.

It’s hard, not knowing what’s happening, like were stuck in some kind of maze made by the gods. But we’ll come back. It doesn’t matter how long it’ll take, we always come back. No matter how long it’ll take, how much effort we’ll give, we’ll be okay. Sometimes, getting up from bed is already a chore for me. Without motivation, what’s there to do? Feeling like I’m here to just exist and continue doing the same routine.

There are days when I feel like no one understands me, when I just want to skip all 9 months of school for no reason. But it gets better. An invisible force of strength pulling me to the right path, the way that would make me find the way to relief.
