Senior High

Our senior high program prepares ISAers to gain acceptance at the country’s top universities, and for life after graduation.

Senior High School comprises of two academic years: Grades 11 and 12. ISA offers the Academic Track for Senior High School, namely, ABM (Accountancy, Business, and Management); STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics); and HUMSS (Humanities and Social Sciences). This track basically prepares our learners who, without exception, intend to pursue college education.

All Grade 12 ISAers are required to take the entrance tests of the top three universities in the country: University of the Philippines, Ateneo de Manila University, and De la Salle University. We guide them through this process and during the summer break prior to Grade 12, ISAers undergo an intensive review to prepare them for these entrance tests.

Averaging the previous three graduating classes, 80 percent of our alumni have passed at least one of these universities’ entrance examinations.

Core Subjects

The subjects in Academic Track are categorized into Core Subjects, Applied and Specialized Subjects. Core Subjects are composed of four areas:

I. Language: Oral Communication; Reading and Writing; Literature; Media and Information Literacy; Contemporary Philippine Arts; and Filipino

II. Mathematics: General Math; Statistics and Probability

III. Sciences: Earth and Life Science; Physical Science; Physics (only in ISA); Earth Science (for STEM); Physical Education and Health

IV. Social Studies: Philosophy and Human Person; Culture, Society and Politics; Disaster Readiness (for STEM)

Applied and Specialized Subjects (STEM)

The subjects under the Applied and Specialized Subjects in STEM are:
